A capacitive touch membrane switch is a switch that uses the principle of capacitance to detect the approach or distance of an object. It usually consists of two layers of conductive material with a layer of insulating material sandwiched between them. When an object approaches the capacitive induction film switch, its electrostatic field will change the electric field distribution in the capacitive touch membrane switch, thus changing the capacitance value.
